- Well,
-
- I've tried everything I can think of and most of the suggestions
- offered here. I already knew that the motherboard was labeled wrong and
- I installed 3.1 the same way that 2.04 came out. I even took the advice
- of a Software Hut tech that told me to try putting them in the way the
- motherboard was labeled (knew it wouldn't work but tried it anyway). RED
- SCREEN on start-up does mean "Bad ROM checksum" from what I've read here
- on the net so I am once again going to send them back for a new set.
-
- There was one guy (all I know is that he was from Canada) that told me
- there was a new set just released for rev 8.9 of the motherboard. If he
- is reading this please e-mail me. I'd like to talk to you about this.
- Thanks for the help everyone, I do appreciate it.
